A Historic, Historic, Day!

Yeah, today. Two minutes from now, the House committee investigating the 1/6/2021 insurrection will begin a weekday week of revealing to us the conclusions of their million pages of documents and testimony that . . .

Here’s my prediction:

They will recommend to the Department of Justice that they indict and convict Trump of:

· Conspiracy to defraud the government of the United States.

· Obstructing an official government proceeding.

They left the third charge up in the air . . . until, or if, they tell it what it is but here’s my take. They will not recommend charging Trump with conspiracy. Rather, they will recommend:

· Sedition. Easier to prove.

Between the various lawsuits against Trump, I believe he’ll be sentenced 12 years in prison (or more). I wonder if he would end up in my Florence, CO’s Supermax prison?

Historic, historic, day because — obviously — no American president has mounted an insurrection before, let along being convicted and sentenced for it. Coming up! Benedict Armold, not a pres., defected to Britain. And Aaron Bur almost became president and all kinds of sedition rumors circulated around him before he died abroad under mysterious circumstances. Donald Trump is one of the three mostly highly placed figures in our history to be saddled with scandal and treason — throughout our history, past, present, and future.

And to him (about him) I say, “Bye. See ya in 12.”
