Captain Winkie, Stormy, and the Election. “Part” 1I. By Gene W. Edwards. Posted 3/26/2025.
What’s the NY hush money case all about, which starts on nearby April 15? It could lead to a lengthy jail sentence for Donald Trump. This is a November election buster! Here goes.
This case is hardly about porn star Stormy Daniels. Rather, it’s about Trump’s attempts to silence an embarrassing story shortly before his 2016 election win. He was also hiding the story from his pregnant wife. To hide the story, he had his lawyer, Michael Cohen, pay Stormy Daniels $130,000 out of Cohen’s own pocket to hide any money trail to or from him regarding his liaison. Subsequently, Trump moved money around in such a way as to pretend the $130,000 was a campaign expense, not a personal expense. He also skewed the result of a federal election in his engaging in a cover-up of a situation that could have drowned his electability. In short, this case mirrors the gigantic NY civil fraud case in which he kept several sets of books to mislead “everyone,” but this case is chiefly about election fraud. Sound familiar?
