It’s true. Every observer of Trump and his games is convinced that Trump plans to cannibalize every dime he can glom onto from the Republican National Committee (RNC) to pay his legal bills. He doesn’t care that all that money is set asides for not only his campaign but the campaigns of all down-ballot Republicans, such as U.S. senators and house members up for election on General Election Day. He doesn’t care at all about them. He even appointed his sister-(sinister?)-in-law to chair or co-chair the RNC. See, he has his foot in the door.

Hence, Donald Trump is a cannibal! Aargh!

Nikki Haley has enough money to get her through Super Tuesday, March 5, which is just one week from tomorrow, but she doesn’t really have a dime for after that when she should be running ads like crazy in the remaining 30 or so states. Hopefully, she’s on the ballot in all those states in case Trump’s candidacy fizzles out because — some one-third of Republicans say they would not vote for a convicted felon (particularly one going to jail). Yet . . .

It will take a miracle to keep Haley in the race . . . and win it. The Trump train keeps losing cars. The engines and caboose are okay but many of the cars in between have derailed or uncoupled, more losses to come.

Let’s see if Super Tuesday holds any significant surprises. Let’s see if Nikki Haley can free-up some significant campaign cash and score some public relations coups.
