One would hope the Supreme Court of the USA will rule against Trump in the immunity case, simply ruling that insurrectional activity by a past or present president will not protect him or her from the law. I get that five of the nine justices will rule against Trump. Thus, Jack Smith’s two cases against Trump could proceed and our High Court redeem, in part, its obstructionist reputation. When I look at this situation, I believe the Supremes will rule against Trump before the election and before the Republican Convention, July 15–18! That ruling will upend the election. Every thinking person should know that one or both of Jack Smith’s cases will lock Trump up for a long time! Trump will also lose the Georgia RICO case.

Russia is pissed we’re paying our arms contractors for weapons for Ukraine via Russia’s banked, and now impounded, Russian money. Now Ukrainians are free to launch armament into Russia to combat nearby Russian aggression from there. Ukraine also wants Crimea back. Thus, the Ukraine War drags on. Ukraine is Russia’s Vietnam. Russia also had to pull out of Afghanistan.

There is no pleasant or conclusive end to wars. They just hang in the air like hyper-allergenic pollen, as a disease in a time and a place for where there is no long-term cure. Wars come from grievances, greed, and stupidity, a lack of cooperation, compassion, and diplomacy. Sometimes wars are numbered, like unwelcome stepchildren, red-haired…
