Part I. Our national budget is monstrously complicated, wasteful, and dangerous. See that at usdebtclock.org. We spend six trillion dollars a year — federal expenditures — but only take in 4.5T. We need to look at each expenditure and make sure it is necessary AND paid for by tax.

Part 2. Neither party wants to tax, only to spend, or cut the other party’s spending priorities. Try doing your household or personal budget that way. Steve Martin: “I’ll start a bank. I’ll call it ‘Fred’s Bank.’ I’ll put your money over here, or over there, or . . . .” Oh, don’t worry; be happy.

Part 3. Sticking to business and looking out for America has NOTHING to do with party! I’m a fiscal conservative, and I don’t like any other political labels. Run America like a successful business or we’ll throw you out of office — yesterday! We don’t need greedy partisan echo chambers running the show, leading to a run on the banks.

Part 4. I’ve haven’t been able to get a bead on when the federal debt limit impasse will end. Some 25 extremists in the House want no compromise or they’ll throw McCarthy under the bus. Only a Democrat bill in the House and Senate can pass — if it has enough Republican support. August?!
