One of the surprises of my life is, for months I’ve been predicting the Democrats would (continue to) narrowly lose the House of Republicans, I mean the House of Representatives, to the Republicans in the 2024 General Election.

When McCarthy quit and then George Santos was booted out. the Republicans were only left with a four-seat majority in the House. I predicted they’d keep such a slim majority after the 2024 General Election because 22 Democrats were quitting then, having given up on getting anything done in the MAGA House.

Then Mike Johnson took over the Speaker job. Guess what happened next? Trump — Johnson and Trump — nixed the border bill until after the election and . . .

At that moment, I predict the Republicans will lose the House in 2024, lose it by some 10 seats. The voters are waking up.

Democrats: see how Trump is doing you big favors! You don’t really need to move a muscle to control the presidency, House, and Senate in 2024, when the new Congress is seated on January 3, 2025 and the newly-elected (reelected) president is seated on 1/20/2025 . . .

From which time the Republican Party will have to reinvent itself, Mitt Romney style, thanks to Donald Trump’s ineptitude, psychopathy, and dictatorial aspirations…
