Today I watched (heard) the Supreme Court consider whether or not Trump should be on the CO ballot on 11/5/2024 . . . or on any ballot in America ever again. I’ll sure a week from now all nine justices will allow Trump to be on each state’s ballot. For once, a Trump lawyer earned his money, Jonathan Mitchell. In the last 12 months, Trump has used 47 different legal firms and paid them 50 million dollars, mostly or all from political donations. He is headed for a street corner, with his trained monkey trickster for public amusement, and a hat you can throw spare change into — or a tip jar.

The Supreme Court rightly noted that having several states simultaneously setting arbitrary standards regarding eligibility for national office could give rise to a free for all wherein state officeholders, and states’ citizens seeking office, could be excluded, or penalized, for purely political reasons, thereby undermining national political process. Example: Governor Abbott of Texas could kick Biden off the TX ticket for mishandling the border. Trump’s obvious seditious behavior and support for it on 1/6 was left by the court on the cutting room table . . . for Jack Smith to carve over, saving the heart of our republic and discarding the tripe: Trump on the docket and then in the slammer.

As for how much immunity Trump has or hasn’t, I believe the Supreme Court will soon (within two weeks?) review the Washington…
