Report Card: Robert Card: Killed 18 with an AR-15.

Yeah, in Maine Robert Card killed 18 with his semi-automatic AR-15-style-rifle, the 560th mass shooting so far this year in the USA, with 63 days in the year to go. In Maine last year, only 22 died all year. Then in late November of 2023, 18 in Maine died in one mass-shooting incident. What’s wrong with that picture?

In short, shooting people is an epidemic, like a COVID-19. Or is it AR-18 (dead) with an AR-15? My first solution is to VOTE OUT any politician who is pro-gun and not looking for a solution. “AR-18” should be our anti-gun rallying cry, AR-18 with a diagonal slash through it, “Remember the Maine?” You must know NRA donations to politicians are often enough alone to push them over, financially, to get elected or reelected. It’s not “Follow the money” today. It’s “Follow the deaths!” to “Follow the money.” Thus, we are a national shooting gallery!

The solution? I’ll try to solve this slaughterhouse mentality and its solution, using only intuition. Here goes (below):

Guns were never meant for anything but as a tool, to shoot wild game, or to shoot men in war. Robert Card was assuredly mentally ill and a public menace with a gun, had made threats. Each case of a shooter is different. Yeah, some of the killings could have been prevented but . . .
