Slaughterhouse-Nine: Urban Myths and Misadventures. By Gene W. Edwards. Posted 1/17/2024.
Urban myth #1: You have a perhaps-drunken one night stand with a scant acquaintance, whom you then do not see for decades — until a TV crew comes, and her, to your doorstep with an army of cameras. See, she just found your “ancestry” DNA all over her DNA in that of her six illegitimate children. Yeah, she had identical sextuplets — back in, say, 1979; yours/hers.
“Hello father, hello father, hello father, hello father, hello father, hello father!”
Is there an echo out here?
No, they’re all yours. Congratulations! By the way, you owe your de facto “wife” six million dollars retroactive in child support. You lose, kiddo. Next time wear a rubber.

The following is even more impactful. Fulton County D.A., Fani Willis, a Scorpio, is accused of hanging out for the last three years with one of her lead special prosecutors, Nathan Lane, in her giant Georgia RICO case of 19 defendants, Trump being their ringleader. Lane divorced his wife of 19 years about the same time he took up with Willis, who hired him as a key prosecutor in the case. Since then, he’s made $650,000, his per-hour billing for the case including some 24-hour (entire) days — and took expensive vacations with Willis, perhaps on Georgia’s dime. He also refused to provide his income statements to the divorce court for months until forced to. he had to: an almost 30-page statement.
