On 2/3, in one of my blogs like this one, wrote the following:

“I’m wondering if it’ll be safe at the Super Bowl next Sunday. And I got the word ‘No. There will be a bomb there.’” I meant to say, “. . . at the Super Bowl the Sunday after next (2/11).

Anyway, as it got closer to Super Bowl day, I felt the Super Bowl itself was safe. 104,000 fans watched the Super Bowl, but 10X that many watched the celebratory parade in Kansas City on Valentine’s Day. THAT was where the danger was.

Let me look at who did it and why.

Bad, fear-based, hooligans, five in all, bent on death and destruction.

What motivated them to attack the parade?

Enjoyed killing. Could get lost in the crowd. You would think they’re just part of the crowd. On signal, started shooting. Wanted attention. Wanted chaos. Violence minded.

I also missed in thinking San Francisco would win. They scored first in overtime but the O.T. rules changed, requiring both teams to control the ball during an overtime, before a game could end.

The Kansas City coach looks just like the late actor Wilford Brimley. Apparently, he and Travis Kelse — Taylor Swift’s boyfriend — had a big row during the game and then Kelse/Swift skipped the parade. Kelse only ran for one yard during the first half. I think…
