Trump won by 4,000,000 votes. In a late fit of generosity, he may prevail upon the Electoral College, by forfeit, in mid-December, to “find” 4,000,001 votes for Kamala Harris (aka Joe Biden), thereby awarding her, his proxy, his agenda, the election!

Despite some soon-before-the-election dreams of mine (“Trump win five” and “Trump wins the election”), I miscalled the dam_ _ _ thing! Below, I’ll assess the big picture.

First, the American people told us our country is moving in the wrong direction, internationally! I agree: war! Second, inflation is breaking the backs of nearly half of the American people!

Thus, the immigration issue, gun control, and EVEN the ABORTION issue, and Trump’s Supreme Court appointments, were pushed aside in the priority sequence of what matters to most voters. Just about every prognosticator I know of called the election wrong! I now eat crow.

It started with our unceremonious egress from Afghanistan. Shameful! It continued with America’s 200 billion dollars (175?), or so, in support for Ukraine, Europe’s job, after NATO kept encroaching on the Russian Federation with missiles near it and promoting Western trade agreements isolating Russia from its former Russian states.
