Well, less than 36 hours from now, Trump must pay his 464-million-dollar bond to appeal his financial fraud case in NY — or have his assets sold for him, by them, for them. Boo-hoo-hoo.

Regarding his debacle, do you remember the TV show titled The $64,000 Question? If Trump loses his appeal, or he loses it by default by not meeting bond, the total he owes in NY is in the ballpark of $640,000,000, which is 10,000 times more than $64,000. His final figure includes interest and penalties and hardly includes the 91.6 MM and 5MM he owes E. Jean Carroll, if he loses those appeals. She may file a third civil case on him.

Think two-thirds of one billion dollars in all: 667MM. Now that’s money! I had estimated earlier that he’s only liquid a total of 100M, not 400MM, or 500M, or 600+MM. Here is my intuition:

Will he post the $464,000,000 bond tomorrow, Monday, March 25, or not? Will some billionaire, or billionaires, or bondsmrn bail him out? Does he actually have that amount in his own coffers, or not, to pay the court? And the answer is . . .

He does not, and will not, have that much money from personal or outside sources. It’s all bluster and baloney from him. He’d lose the appeals anyway. Why should he fight it? NY will be selling his assets left and right soon. If he’s run out of Trump Tower, will he be sleeping on the beach at Rockaway Beach, or under a pier in Coney Island? Only his flummoxship himself…
