“Scampaigns” is, of course, a portmanteau (blend) word I made up: scam(s)/campaigns. There is no better descriptor of Trump and his two bids for “higher office,” and all of his deliberate dramatic antics to get attention and money since he entered politics in 2015 . . . and before.
Take his pushing of the Holy Bible for instance. He says none of the proceeds will go towards his campaign. He doesn’t mention he’ll probably use the profits to pay his lawyers or just put the profits into his pocket. He should make $40-$50 profit from each Bible plus maybe another dollar or two profit from a pricey shipping charge. Jesus Christ Himself has autographed each Bible, as Donald J. Trump.
To date, Trump has never spent a dollar on his campaigns. His excitatory rhetoric inflames his followers to donate their “all” to him, not to mention their violence — but it’s all a scam, a grift. There has been no one in our history similar to Donald Trump, nor will ever be. I’m going to tell you how he is wired, courtesy of Michael Cohen, Trump’s “fixer” lawyer for 14 years until Trump threw him under a bus to save his own skin.
