The Trump “Rape”/Defamation Trial Concludes. Prediction by Gene W. Edwards. Posted 1/26/2024.

Right about now, the civil trial against Trump for — already judged — “sexual assault,” and his subsequent constant bombardment of E. Jean Carroll: defamation (slander and libel) . . . is concluding.

The jury is having lunch and will then confer in private until done, even if it takes until midnight. It has been noted by all that Trump needs to be slammed with a judgment sufficient to shut him up.

Here’s my prediction: $120,000,000! Trump may still continue to slander her, sending him and her (she said after he said) back to court for a third time, or ad infinitum, Groundhog Day fashion.

Such a large amount “could” be reduced by the judge or on appeal — but all parties noted Trump’s insulting and recalcitrant behavior before and during the trial. The jury is supposed to fine him enough to make it hurt. It knows he has ample financial resources.

If this week isn’t bad enough, at any time this or early next month the fraud trial of Trump in NY will come through with the amount of his fine. It could be $370,000,000 plus interest.

Here’s my prediction: The amount will be determined in early February and will be . . .

$400,000,000 (includes interest).

Will the amount be reduced on appeal?
