The USA Intuitively Rated by the Year, 2023, by Gene W. Edwards.
Here’s an addendum regarding my USA yearly scores, 0–10 (10 would equal a great year). Among America’s worst years, modern era:
1941: 3. World War II.
1963: 4. JFK coup d’etat.
1968: 3. Massive protests and assassinations.
2001: 3. 9/11.
2008: 3. Banking crisis, one actually in the tens of trillions of dollars.
2020: 3. Pandemic!
2023: 3.8. Massive national discord! Climate catastrophes. Cryptocurrency meltdown.
2023: 0–10. (10 is best.) As follows:
Economy: 8 (will get much better from April on).
“Problems” regarding presidents: 2.
Presidential and Congress performance: 5.
Weather/climate/geophysical crises: 1.9 (horrible!).
Big earthquakes in the USA: 9 (not a problem).
Ukraine war: 9 (concludes this year).
Domestic terrorism, widespread: 8.
Immigration: 6.7 (bad, still D+ grade).
Inflation: 6.7. (1/3rd still unacceptably bad); think of a 6.7% interest rate.
Notes: NOT a bad year for economy. The rest is problematic. Domestic (within USA) violence. They should value country over politics. Business upbeat. Family of Biden in disarray. High inflation. Watch unraveling of political system. Law and order required. A villain loses power in 2023. Then we work our way back up, begin regrouping. The American dollar is being abandoned abroad, led by the BRICS countries (Brazil, Russia, Iran, China, and South Africa, maybe Saudi Arabia joining, a long-term problem). Social Security in peril. We need millions of (legal) new immigrants in our work force and contributing to our tax base — or we’ll end up in demographic hell.
Fears of economic collapse down the line, within 24–36 months. What currency awaits? A digital currency created by central banks, comparable to a cryptocurrency, no cash? Will gold go away as a fractional currency-backer? Read that last sentence two or three times: what’s coming after the dust settles.
Our country is seeking a higher vibration, transparency, and a new way of living. Our country is collapsing from within, seeking freedom. Watch out for more (widespread) insurrection. Empires come and go. So do democratic republics. Watch out for the next few years. Have a backup plan.
