Tidbits from the Trenches. Trump: Prison. By Gene W. Edwards. Posted 4/13/2024.
These are strange times indeed! We’re hours away from Trump’s hush money trial on Monday the 15th. Stormy Daniels will make the trial “look good,” and Michael Cohen will seal Trump’s fate in it. Stormy Daniels has Ivanka Trump’s blonde looks and she is also convincing, but she’s Hooters kind of girl. David Pecker and Karen McDougall will also be damning prosecution witnesses. Trump “could” draw a four-year prison sentence, but as I look at the whole thing now, a two-year sentence would be a good bet, 34 minor felonies that maybe bought him the election. He’ll have an army of lawyers on hand. It’s a jury case. He might serve his sentence from home, or wear an ankle bracelet rather than be a marked man in a prison setting — which means he might continue tweeting as if nothing ever happened. Trump usually skates out of trouble. He can’t wait to stay out of jail.

Normally, there are 435 members in the House but right now five seats are vacant. Two were early resignations, early vacancies (Ken Buck and Michael Gallagher) that won’t be filled until after the General Election when the new House is seated on January 3…
