Vote Them Out!

Vote out any and all politicians who want to keep automatic and semi-automatic weapons legal for private ownership and use. You don’t need to know anything else about them. Just vote them out. And d_ _ _ the NRA!

Vote out, as well, any politician who is involved in overthrowing the Roe v. Wade abortion law/standard. Roe v. Wade was lax enough, but not overly so. Now some politicians want to outlaw all abortions including rape, incest, and medical emergencies involving the mother or baby, requiring an abortion, which can be a way to kill both.
I used to know a comedienne who went on stage and started her set by saying, “This is Nancy Reagan’s idea of an abortion.” Susan B. had a coat hanger in her hand. Get it? Hmm. Ft. Lauderdale used to be Party Town, USA. Now between FL’s onerous abortion laws and all the rain in Ft. Lauderdale this week, all sex there is on hold. No new humans! Let’s rename Ft. Lauderdale “Ft. Just Say No.” Legislating morality is an empty exercise that only brings worse scenarios in, forbidden fruit and the lure of illicit riches.

Vote out those who would sanitize history rather than spell it out or redeem it. The busts, the statues, the place names must stay — as reminders. Did Germany bulldoze all of Hitler’s concentration camps, or do some of the biggies remain, restored to look like back then so we can fathom now what evil is?

I am equally offended with the Woke crowd, AND, the anti-Woke crowd. These extremes don’t benefit anyone in the long run. Racists, don’t try to take Blacks out of history books! Wokes, don’t eliminate politically incorrect words out of Dr. Seuss, etc.: ugly, fat, evil, etc. Censorship usually only engenders more problems, including racism or a hyper-liberalism-anything-goes. Let parents discuss privately with their kids the gender choices they see all around them, if the subject comes up. Parents used to say, when kids asked sex questions, “Go take a bath!” Modern culture’s excesses and amorality is inescapable, but one can still keep it at arm’s length, making sure values are communicated, not just self-indulgence or hard-wired DNA choices that fall outside the norm.

And hey, FL, TN, TX, AZ, etc.: you don’t want Blacks to vote at all, huh, you Republicans? We should vote you all out. How about boycotting Nashville until its legislature is only peopled with the fully human, almost all of them Democrats. Its legislature has one foot in the pre-Civil War. Now Uncle Tom can vote, and raise his hackles! Go to it, Unc!

And then there is the Trump crowd. Include some half of all registered/voting Republicans who say “I’ll always vote for my party’s candidate, whoever he is, no matter how corrupt and treasonous.” If you don’t know who Trump is by now, you will by the end of the year. Meanwhile, what are you doing in this country? Insurrection yourself. Overthrow yourself. Vote yourself out. Reinvent yourself!

How about the 147 Republicans who signed a petition saying the 2020 election was stolen, despite all evidence? How about Republican media talk shows and talking heads pushing conscious lies? How about the department heads of giant acronym-lettered agencies who check to see which way the political wind is blowing before making any decision? What about mind control taking place in our intelligence agencies to produce “presidential models, assassins, and message carriers,” all of them too unconscious, via torture, to realize they are programmed? What about presidents who lead us into war on false pretenses, or the Neo-cons, who plotted and plot to have the USA invade numerous countries so we can control oil, resources, banking, etc.? There are lots of villains out there, plenty to go around. Throw them all out, without one forgiving whimper that any of them deserve mercy or public access. Arrests are everywhere this days, post Trump’s psychopathy, and now we are all becoming painfully aware we are being played. Even the good guys deal off the bottom of the deck. What you don’t know can’t hurt you?

When you look at the above laundry list of what and who to throw out, it’s like playing 10-pins and only a few are left, after the ball is rolled, and even those pins are shaking!

We should never have to choose to vote among two or more poisons. Instead, discard all the poisons and find a benign alternative. Hey, it might be a libertarian, or some other third-party presence pushing towards an iota of recognition, but with the right message and track record, the right character.
Let’s hope it doesn’t get so bad, you have to write in your, or your dog’s name on a ballot, no decent choices listed worth a second glance.
Well, so be it. Let’s reinvent democracy!
