The Groundhog said early spring. Groundhog half wrong. Should be whacked by weather mafiosi, butchered, and eaten like any other ‘hog. In my Colorado Springs, CO my neighbor’s apple tree started budding the first week of March. Grass greening up all February. We had four snows since February 1: 9”, 3”, 5”, and 6” Much of the country is weekly slammed by severe weather: rain; snow; mud slides; tornados; and high winds . . . alternating with mild or unseasonably warm weather. Allow me to intuitively (psychically) look at the big weather picture for the rest of the year, January through December, 0–10, 10 being the worst.
Snowfall. Last year 3 out of 10. This year: 7.
Rain (deluges and flooding): last year 4. This year: 8.
Wildfires. Last year: 5. This year: 8.
Dangerous X-flare sunspots (Coronal Mass Ejections: CMEs). Last year a low 1. This year: 4.
Tornados. Last year: 6. This year: 6.
Hurricanes. Last year 4. This year 6.
Volcanoes affecting the USA. Last year: low 1. This year: same.
Tsunamis affecting the USA. Last year: low 1. This year 3.
A glance at the above should show a trend: snowfall up from 2023 by 233%, rain up 100%, wildfires up 60%, hurricanes up 50%, the rest “okay.” Two big insurance companies dropped coverage for hurricanes and such in Florida for homeowners. Solar cycle…
